I’m Chris and I’m a Candid, Documentary, Reportage Style wedding photographer 

(to be honest, all these new words keep coming up, but basically I capture your wedding as it happens and if i need to direct I will)

I’m there for the real stuff. The belly laughs, the happy tears, the hugs that go on a bit too long, the chaos, the quiet, the absolute mayhem on the dancefloor. All the bits you’ll forget happened until you see them back.

I am based in Gloucestershire, shooting weddings all over the Cotswolds and up to about three hours away across the UK.

My Style & About me.

I got into this because I watched it done badly.

A few mates got married and got absolutely stitched up. Couples dragged away from their own party for an hour of posing. Photographers packing up bang on time while the schedule was still slipping. Then months of waiting for a gallery that wasn't worth the wait.

That's when it clicked: wedding photography isn't really about photography. It's service. It's care. It's reading the room. It's knowing when to step in and let life happen.

The photos are the easy part. Three cameras, a decade of knowing where to stand, and no anxiety about whether I'll get the shot. I will.

Where I actually earn my money is everywhere else. Keeping the drama away from you. Keeping the day moving. Talking to your other suppliers so you don't have to. Making the whole thing feel easy.

And never . not once . turning your wedding into my portfolio shoot.

It's your day. You're meant to be in it, not being directed like an extra in someone else's film.

I shoot it and I edit it.
Every frame. Nothing gets shipped off to an editing house overseas to be run through someone else's preset. The same eye that saw the moment does the work afterwards.

Every wedding gets graded on its own terms — the light, the venue, the weather, all of it. A wet November barn shouldn't look like a June garden party, and it won't.

Real moments, not staged ones.
Documentary, properly. I'm after what actually happened — your dad's face during the speeches, your mates going at the bar, the ten minutes you'll have forgotten by nine o'clock. Composed and considered. Never posed to death.

    Book the 10 hour package if you want everything from getting ready to the first dance into the parfty in the evening covered,Plenty of time for the build up, the ceremony, confetti, family and group photos, portraits, speeches, and the first dance.

    Book the 8 hour package is perfect if you only want from ceremony through to after the first dance.

  • I personally edit every single photo to make sure it reflects the feeling of the moment. I like to enhance the natural beauty without making things look too polished or artificial.

  • Absolutely! It's a great chance for us to hang out before the big day and get to know each other better. Plus, it helps you feel more relaxed in front of the camera when the wedding day rolls around. - infact, If you book my top package it is included as a complmentary gift.

  • I totally get how excited you are to see your photos, and I promise you won't have to wait long! No matter the month or how busy the season, I guarantee delivery within 28 days after your wedding day. How do I do it? Well, I make sure to never overbook myself. I typically only take on 3-4 weddings a month, so I have plenty of time to give each one the attention it deserves. I've seen friends wait months for their photos, and that's just not right. I'm committed to delivering your memories promptly, because you deserve nothing less.

  • Each of my packages includes
    - coverage of your wedding day,
    - edited high-resolution images delivered in a digital gallery
    -personalised consultation to discuss your vision and preferences.
    -at the end of the wedding you will get 10-20 edited sneak peeks from your day before i have even left, ready for you to share on social media and i also give each of my couples a framed print on the day so you have something to enjoy while you wait for your photos.

    Honestly, I am here for you as much as you need, I’ve been on the phone with brides at 10pm worried about the rain, and i have helped grooms tie their first tie

  • I've had the pleasure of photographing weddings at various venues across the UK, and I always take the time to familiarize myself with new venues to ensure I can capture the best possible images.

  • Absolutely! I always come prepared with backup camera bodies, lenses, and other essential equipment to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted photography experience, no matter what.

    for those who care, i work with 2 Canon R6 mirrorless camera’s, and my favourite lens right now is the 28-70 f2 RF lens which is a beast, but means i dont need a gym membership anymore lol

  • Absolutely! I welcome input from couples and am happy to accommodate any specific requests or shot lists you may have. Your satisfaction is my top priority.

    there is never any limit to the photos you want, you are paying for my time and capturing your day is the top priority, just as long as you’re still smiling, but i wont be forcing you to come here and there for photos… I want you to enjoy your day!
