What is your photography style?
Documentary first. I capture real moments as they happen, without much posing or staging. When a bit of direction helps, like a few relaxed portraits or quick group shots, I'll guide you calmly and get you back to your people.
How do you edit the photos?
I personally edit every single photo so it reflects how the moment felt. Natural, warm and true to the day, never over-polished or artificial.
How many photos will we get?
Unlimited. The average gallery is 500+ fully edited photos, delivered in a private online gallery to download, share and print.
How quickly will we get our photos?
Your full gallery is delivered within four weeks. You'll also get 10–20 edited sneak peeks before I leave on the day, and a framed print to enjoy straight away. Highlight films take up to twelve weeks.
Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?
Yes, as an add-on for £250. It's a great way to get used to the camera, and to me, before the big day.
Do you charge for travel?
No. There are no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales.
Do you film as well?
Yes. I shoot photo and video myself, so there's no extra crew. See The Storyteller package or add a highlight film to any 8+ hour photo package.
Do you have backup equipment?
Always. I shoot with three Canon R6 Mk II bodies, plus backup lenses, batteries and cards, so nothing's left to chance.
Can we give you a shot list?
Absolutely. Tell me the people and moments that matter most and I'll make sure they're covered, while still letting the day unfold naturally.
How do payments work?
A £250 deposit secures your date. The balance is split in two: half six months before the wedding and half one month before, taken on the 1st of the month.
Can our guests share their photos too?
Yes, with Captured by You. Guests scan a QR code, upload from their phones, and I deliver everything to you in a private gallery. £49, one-off.
Can we meet you before booking?
Of course. We can jump on Zoom, or meet in person if you're nearby. I'm based in Gloucestershire.
