Bristol is under an hour from my base near Gloucester, and it's one of my favourite places to shoot. Harbourside light, colourful streets and quirky venues mean no two Bristol weddings look the same.
I've photographed couples married under the stars at We The Curious, at historic Tortworth Court on the edge of South Gloucestershire, and out in the Somerset countryside. City or country, I'm there to catch the real moments, not stage them.

Do you charge travel to Bristol or Bath?
No. There are no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales, so a Bristol or Bath wedding costs the same as one in Gloucestershire.
Do you shoot city-centre weddings?
Yes. City weddings are brilliant for documentary photography: street portraits, busy receptions and plenty of character. I'll scout the best spots near your venue so we're never far from your guests.
How far ahead should we book?
Most couples book 12 to 18 months out, and Saturdays from May to September go first. Midweek and winter dates are often available at shorter notice, so it's always worth asking.
Can you film our wedding as well?
Yes. The Storyteller package covers photos and a highlight film, or you can add a highlight film to shorter days. Same documentary style, just me working quietly with a couple of cameras.
