Oxfordshire wedding photographer.
Natural, honest, unposed.
Documentary wedding photography and film across Oxfordshire, from the Cotswold edge at Burford and Faringdon to Oxford itself.
West Oxfordshire is
an easy run from me.
Burford, Witney, Faringdon and Chipping Norton sit right on the Cotswold edge, about an hour from my base near Gloucester. It's some of the prettiest wedding country in England, and it photographs beautifully in every season.
From a confetti-filled country wedding to a relaxed engagement shoot on Shotover Hill, I work the same way: quietly, with a sense of humour, and with your guests' real reactions front and centre.
All over Oxfordshire.
Burford & Witney
The gateway to the Cotswolds, with barns and riverside pubs.
Faringdon
Country house venues like Sudbury House.
Chipping Norton
Hilltop market town and estate weddings.
Oxford
College chapels, city venues and Shotover Country Park.
Woodstock
Honey-stone streets on the edge of Blenheim.
The Vale of White Horse
Wantage, Abingdon and the villages in between.
Henley & the Thames
Riverside weddings in the south of the county.
And beyond
Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol and Bath, all with no travel fees.
Oxfordshire weddings I've photographed.

Your day, not a photoshoot.
Most of your gallery will be real moments: the nerves, the laughs, the tears in the front row and the chaos on the dancefloor. I'll take you away for a short portrait session when the light is good, then hand you back to your guests.

“Chris is such a genuine person who fitted into our day feeling more like a guest!”Chloe
Oxfordshire wedding questions.
Do you charge travel to Oxfordshire?
No. There are no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales, so wherever you're getting married in Oxfordshire, the price on my website is the price you pay.
Can we do an engagement shoot in Oxfordshire?
Absolutely. Shotover Country Park, the Thames path and the Cotswold villages all make great backdrops. An engagement shoot is also the best way to get used to my camera before the big day.
How far ahead should we book?
Most couples book 12 to 18 months out, and Saturdays from May to September go first. Midweek and winter dates are often available at shorter notice, so it's always worth asking.
Can you film our wedding as well?
Yes. The Storyteller package covers photos and a highlight film, or you can add a highlight film to shorter days. Same documentary style, just me working quietly with a couple of cameras.
