Bride and groom outside Clock Barn, Whitchurch, Hampshire
Captured by Chris · Covering Hampshire

Hampshire wedding photographer.
Relaxed, documentary, real.

Natural, unposed wedding photography and film across Hampshire, from Basingstoke and Hook to Winchester, Alresford and Whitchurch.

A favourite patch

Hampshire barns and
country houses.

I'm based just outside Gloucester, but north Hampshire is a regular trip for me. I've photographed weddings at Warbrook House in Eversley, Clock Barn near Whitchurch, Pinglestone Barn near Alresford and Lees Hill near Hook, so I know how these venues work and where the light is best.

My style is simple: a friendly face who blends in, catches the real moments and keeps the group photos quick.

Where I cover

All over Hampshire.

Basingstoke & Hook

Country houses and barn venues across north Hampshire.

Eversley & Fleet

Historic houses on the Berkshire border.

Andover & Whitchurch

Thatched barns and open countryside.

Winchester & Alresford

The cathedral city and its farm and barn venues.

Romsey & the Test Valley

Riverside villages and country estates.

And beyond

Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, with no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales.

How I work

Your day, not a photoshoot.

Most of your gallery will be real moments: the nerves, the laughs, the tears in the front row and the chaos on the dancefloor. I'll take you away for a short portrait session when the light is good, then hand you back to your guests.

Good to know

Hampshire wedding questions.

Do you charge travel to Hampshire?

No. There are no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales, so a Basingstoke or Winchester wedding costs exactly the same as one down the road from me.

Do you photograph register office weddings?

Yes, I love them. Custom Hours starts at £550 for two hours, which is perfect for a register office ceremony and a few portraits before the meal.

How far ahead should we book?

Most couples book 12 to 18 months out, and Saturdays from May to September go first. Midweek and winter dates are often available at shorter notice, so it's always worth asking.

Can you film our wedding as well?

Yes. The Storyteller package covers photos and a highlight film, or you can add a highlight film to shorter days. Same documentary style, just me working quietly with a couple of cameras.
