Wasing Park wedding photographer.
A whole estate to yourselves.
Natural, documentary wedding photography and film at Wasing Park, an exclusive-use country estate near Aldermaston in West Berkshire.
A farm hamlet
turned wedding venue.
Wasing Park sits on a big rural estate between Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke, at the end of a long winding drive. It's a restored farm hamlet with a Grade II listed Castle Barn, a Victorian summerhouse, a walled garden and accommodation on site.
It's exclusive use, so once your guests arrive the whole place is yours. There are a few ceremony spaces, inside and out, and the barn is made for a party.
Visit Wasing Park's websiteWhat it's like to shoot here.
The ceremony room
Big windows and loads of soft light. Great for natural, candid ceremony photos.
The grounds
Parkland, old trees and the courtyard give you plenty of options for confetti and groups without walking miles.
The barn at night
Brick walls, beams and festoon lights. The evening tunnel exits and sparklers look brilliant here.

Your day, not a photoshoot.
Most of your gallery will be real moments: the nerves, the laughs, the tears in the front row and the chaos on the dancefloor. I'll take you away for a short portrait session when the light is good, then hand you back to your guests.

“He calmed nerves, directed family members, and made us (two pretty camera shy people) feel like a million bucks.”Kate & Dan
“Chris is the definition of talent! He was incredible on our wedding day.”Lauren & Tom
Wasing Park wedding questions.
Have you photographed weddings at Wasing Park?
Yes, including Vanessa's wedding in November 2024: an autumn day with confetti in the courtyard and a big send-off at night.
Do you travel to Berkshire?
Yes, all the time. I'm based in Gloucestershire and there are no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales.
Is Wasing Park good for a winter wedding?
Yes. The light goes early, so I plan portraits for the last bit of daylight, then the barn and the lights take over.
Can you film our wedding too?
Yes. The Storyteller package covers photo and film all day, or you can add ceremony and speeches recordings.
