Great Tythe Barn wedding photographer.
Old stone, big beams, no stiff poses.
Natural, documentary wedding photography and film at The Great Tythe Barn, a Grade II listed Cotswold stone barn at Long Newnton, just outside Tetbury.
A Cotswold tithe barn
with room for everyone.
The Great Tythe Barn is a Grade II listed Cotswold stone barn at Long Newnton, a couple of minutes from Tetbury. Exposed stone, huge oak beams and a courtyard of honey-coloured cottages where your guests can stay the night.
You can get married in the barn or outside in the garden, have drinks on the lawn or up in the gallery, then dance till late. With everyone staying on site, nobody's rushing off for the last taxi.

The barn
Stone walls and oak beams look incredible, and the tall glass doors pull in loads of natural light for the ceremony.
The courtyard
Cottages, gravel and Cotswold stone right outside. Perfect for confetti, groups and the chaos that follows.
The feel
Rustic but polished. In winter the light drops early, so I plan portraits around it and use the barn's own lights after dark.

Your day, not a photoshoot.
Most of your gallery will be real moments: the nerves, the laughs, the tears in the front row and the chaos on the dancefloor. I'll take you away for a short portrait session when the light is good, then hand you back to your guests.

Great Tythe Barn wedding questions.
Have you photographed weddings at The Great Tythe Barn?
Yes, including Scott and Josie's day in November 2023, complete with a convoy of Suzuki Jimnys and a groom getting carried around by his mates.
Do you charge travel to Tetbury?
No. There are no travel fees anywhere in England and Wales.
What about a winter wedding there?
Winter at the barn is great. It gets dark around four, so I'll help you plan the timeline to grab portraits in the light, then the barn looks gorgeous lit up at night.
Can you film our wedding too?
Yes. The Storyteller package covers photo and film all day, or you can add ceremony and speeches recordings.
