Your wedding,
as it actually felt.

Photographer turns best friend.

"We've known Chris for over a year now since we contacted him to be our photographer for our very special day. Chris understood us from the minute we said 'we don't pose' and he just knew. From our engagement shoot, to the evening of our wedding, Chris has been there for us throughout the planning process, the late night panic calls, the dog whisperer and the biggest hype man any nervous bride will ever meet.

If you want a photographer who connects with you, relaxes you but actually gets you, book Chris. Don't think about it. Just do it."

Great to meet you

I'm Chris.
I'm there for the real stuff.

The belly laughs, the happy tears, the hugs that go on a bit too long, the chaos, the quiet, the absolute mayhem on the dancefloor. All the bits you'll forget happened until you see them back.

Candid, documentary, reportage — call it what you like. I capture your wedding as it happens, and if I need to direct, I will.

I'm based in Gloucestershire, shooting all over the Cotswolds and up to about three hours away across the UK. If you want your photos to look like your wedding actually felt, we'll get on.

The way I work

Your wedding isn't a photoshoot.
It's a room full of people you love.

No stiff posing. No awkward "now laugh" moments. No dragging you away from your own celebration. Just the big moments, the subtle moments, and the blink-and-you'd-miss-it moments — as they actually happen.

You focus on living your wedding day. I'll focus on remembering it properly.

Why I do this

I got into this because I watched it done badly.

A few mates got married and got absolutely stitched up. Dragged away from their own party for an hour of posing. Photographers packing up bang on time while the schedule was still slipping. Then months of waiting for a gallery that wasn't worth the wait.

That's when it clicked: wedding photography isn't really about photography. It's service. It's reading the room. The photos are the easy part — three cameras, a decade of knowing where to stand, and no anxiety about whether I'll get the shot. I will.

Where I actually earn my money is everywhere else. Keeping the drama away from you, keeping the day moving, talking to your other suppliers so you don't have to. And never — not once — turning your wedding into my portfolio shoot.

Kind words

Don't take my word for it.

"The photos are so heartfelt, full of emotion, and capture all those wonderful little stolen moments that we might not even have realised were happening at the time."Phoebe & Rhys
"Chris was not only the photographer — he calmed nerves, directed family members, and made us (two pretty camera shy people) feel like a million bucks. He was also an absolute hit with our friends on the dancefloor!"Kate & Dan
"Chris is the definition of talent! He was incredible on our wedding day, we've had amazing feedback from our guests. Not only has he captured the very best moments from our day, but the editing and final look is perfect."Lauren & Tom
